Do you find yourself making the same New Year’s Resolutions year after year?

Do you start with high hopes of making a real difference, only to find yourself drifting away from your goals.

Does the prospect of setting another resolution only to disappoint yourself again frighten you away from even making the effort?

Here’s an idea you might want to consider.

What you experience in life is a direct reflection of what you believe to be true and real.

If you believe you’re overweight, or poor, or socially awkward, that’s what you’ll experience.

If you want to be slim, trim, rich, and popular, you must first believe you are these things.

If you don’t believe it first, nothing you do will change your experience.

At least, not for long.

Sure, you might follow a well-planned diet and exercise program and lose some weight, but if you see yourself as someone with a weight problem, or as someone who routinely fails at what they try, you could very well gain it all back, and more!

Or maybe your problem is with money.

If you believe that money is hard to earn and keep, then you can work 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you’ll still be struggling to get by.

Before you can experience unlimited prosperity, you must first believe that money just naturally flies to you from every direction, and that there’s really nothing you can do to stop it.

This is essentially what I did when I manifested the relationship I now have with my wife, Linda.

Before that time, I believed that I was so different from most folks, that there would only be a handful of women in the whole world who would be a good match for me.

When I finally realized what that belief was doing, I decided to change it and believe there were 1000s of women right in my own city that would make a PERFECT partner for me.

Once I made that choice, and took some actions to anchor the belief into my mind, I spent time visualizing the perfect relationship, and everywhere I went, I was on the lookout for one of those amazing women I EXPECTED to find.

Less than 2 months later, we met, and as soon as I saw her, I KNEW she was the one.

Of course, I didn’t tell her about it until she was ready, a few years later.

The point is, once you change your beliefs to support your goals, they happen more easily than if you try to “tough it out” and “break through the obstacles”.

One of the reasons for this is that opportunities are much more plentiful than you may now perceive.

With limiting beliefs, you are currently ignoring many of the perfectly good opportunities already present in your life.

You don’t have to join a gym and make a public spectacle of yourself in order to lose weight, if that’s your goal.

There are lots of things you can do right in your own home that will burn more calories and sitting on the couch.

By the same token, there are many more food choices available at the grocery store than the ones you currently are in the habit of buying.

You may even be surprised at how delicious they can be if you give them a chance.

Once you change your beliefs about yourself, you’ll start to notice these opportunities and your natural inclinations will lead you to taking appropriate action, thus helping you reach your goals with less effort.

Of course, before you can hit a target, you must first take aim.

If you had to pick ONE THING that would make your life more enjoyable, what would it be?

  • More money?
  • Better health and vitality?
  • Better sex? More love?
  • More fun and adventure?
  • Something else?

Even if you have to flip a coin or draw lots, pick one thing to manifest in the next few months.

Go ahead, dream big!

Together, we’ll make it happen.

Wishing you the best of all good things.
