To put it simply, those who tend to succeed in life believe in themselves and trust that all action will either produce the results they want or help them learn something new. And that “something new” can lead to greater opportunities down the road.
Kind of like learning how to swim, dance, or ride a bicycle. You do it because you KNOW that it’s possible and there are lots of other people already doing it and having a whole lot of fun!
When you trust that you have what it takes to learn whatever is necessary, you find the drive and motivation to just get in there are do it, and keep doing it until you get it right.
Making the Shift

Listen, I used to be in your shoes. Well, not literally. I was also the type who always held back and waited for others to figure things out, and then I bought the books, read the websites, and watched the videos to learn how to make things work.
Guess what? No matter how much I learned from others, when it came time to actually do something, I STILL found myself out of my depth and floundering. There were always variables that weren’t discussed in the materials, and trying to customize the processes to my own unique situation was never as cut-and-dried as they said.
And there’s also something called “first mover advantage”. When a new thing comes out, like fax machines, beepers, MySpace, Tik Tok, or whatever the new fad of the moment might be, those who are the first to jump in are usually the ones who get the most advantage from these things.
Whenever I held back, I lost that first mover advantage, and the landscape always changes, becoming more competitive as more people dive in and start swimming in the pond. Remember when Facebook made it easy to connect with an audience for free. Those days are long gone.
I eventually learned my lesson, but it took way too many years before I was ready to accept the inevitable.
As they say, hindsight is 20/20, and I now see where I made my biggest mistake.
What Turned Things Around for Me
My biggest mistake was trying to change the world around me rather than face the fact that when I changed myself, my experience of life would change too.
Back in the 1980s, I got interested in something called manifesting. Today it’s usually called the Law of Attraction. Anyway, the basic idea is that when you can focus on what you want and BELIEVE that it will happen, your belief makes it happen.

In pursuing the idea of manifesting, and working to develop the power to command miracles, I spent a lot of time meditating and focusing my mind on specific ideas while relaxing my physical body.
Little did I know at the time that I was essentially doing what many people call self-hypnosis.
Had I done it properly, and focused on ideas of self-esteem, self-confidence, motivation, and enjoying the activities that would make me successful, I would have succeeded much, much sooner. Even more so if I had a hypnotist who knew how to present the ideas in a way that was easy to believe.
Instead of taking 20 years, it would have taken less than 5. Maybe even less than 1 year. There are at least 15 years there I’ll never get back.

Hypnosis is merely the art of speaking in such a way that the other person believes you’re telling them the truth and accepts following suggestions that lead them into a highly focused state of mind, where they are able to access abilities that are normally unavailable to them. And then using these powerful abilities to make incredible changes to the subject’s personality, habits, and perception of the world.
That last bit is where we learn how to SEE opportunities that already exist in the world around you.
You’ve probably heard of the Reticular Activating System. RAS for short. It’s that part of the mind that scans the world around you and filters out everything you don’t need to pay any attention to, so your conscious mind doesn’t get overloaded.
The common example is that when you buy something new, like a car or clothes, you suddenly start noticing how many other people have the same car or are wearing the same clothes. The only thing that changed was that now you have an interest in that type of car or clothing.

How Much Does it Cost?

With monthly and annual memberships, I can serve a wide variety of folks who want a wide variety of ways to access these sessions and everything else I can offer them.
But then I wondered how to price these memberships.
If sessions are worth at least $30 each, then a set of 4 in a month is worth $120. But then not everyone would want to attend every single session, so to make it fair, a lower price is called for. And those who sign up for an annual membership might attend the sessions for a while, then drop off a while, and maybe come back again later.
Okay, you don’t need to know my entire thought process, so let’s just say I considered this from all possible angles and here’s what I came up with.
What this means is if you sign up for a Monthly Membership and only come to 2 sessions, you would be paying just $25/session. If you came for 4 in a month, they end up being just $12.50/session.
And if you sign up for an Annual Membership and only come in for 10 sessions a year, they would run you about $30/session, although if you came for 30 sessions in a year, they would be just $10/session.
As long as I can get 20 people per session, then my needs are taken care of as well.

Okay, time to get into the nitty-gritty details.

These first weekly sessions are being held on Wednesday evenings at 7pm Eastern (New York) Time, and run between 60 and 90 minutes. We’re doing these on Zoom, so when you sign up, you’ll get the Zoom link, meeting ID, and passcode, although in most cases, the link is all you need.
These links change from time to time, and members will get the new links whenever they do change.
If you haven’t used Zoom before, it’s really easy. One of the reasons why it has become the de facto standard since the pandemic a few years ago. The first time you click a Zoom link, you’ll get asked if you want to download the Zoom client, which is software that runs on your computer or mobile device and makes the meeting experience a great one. There are options for Windows, Mac, iPhone, and Android.
You don’t have to use the software, and you can connect to the Zoom session in your web browser instead. It works, although it’s a bit more limited.
The biggest issue that sometimes comes up is with your webcam and microphone. In some cases, Zoom doesn’t always find them, and occasionally, someone needs to leave the meeting and come back in. Sometimes, it’s a permission that needs to be set on your computer to allow the Zoom software to access your camera and microphone. I’ll make sure you get all the information you’ll need to get it all to work.
In most cases, everything works perfectly, and once you’re in, you’re golden. That is, as long as you have a stable internet connection.
As soon as you sign up, I’ll send you an email with all the necessary information, and a reminder email about an hour before each session. I do my best to make everything as convenient as possible for you.
A Typical Session
Once you’re in the session and the fun starts, I take a few minutes to welcome everyone and share some information with you. Usually, it’s a new thing I learned about hypnosis, success, or manifesting.
From there, I get everyone to state out loud what they would like to get out of that particular session. This helps to give your deeper mind something to focus on, and helps you get much more out of the session.
Next, we do the guided session itself. This usually lasts about 20 minutes, with about 10 minutes of “free time” in which your deeper mind is directed to give you an experience that will teach you something about reaching your stated goal. Sometimes, you don’t really need to know anything new, so you get to have a lucid dream that can be incredibly enjoyable.
After the guided session, everyone has an opportunity to share their experiences and what it meant to them. This is where we get to learn from each other, and it tends to be the high point of the event.
And before the session ends, I open the floor to any questions, and do my best to answer them all.
